PDCs generate the Illinois ASBO professional development seminars, workshops and conference educational opportunities that keep Illinois ASBO members at the top of the School Business Management Profession. Volunteering with a PDC offers you opportunities to network, make a difference, learn, and to give back to the profession.
Provide members and non-members an opportunity to gain professionally through monthly meetings. By reaching out locally, Regional Organizations bring fluidity to the school business management profession; offering non-members a glimpse of the benefits of membership and professional development. Meetings vary, but often include presentations or discussions on
topics timely to school business managers.
The chief administrative officer of a Regional Office of Education, and the only elected education professional office in Illinois. As an intermediate agency between the Illinois State Board of Education and local school districts, the office of the Regional Superintendent performs regulatory functions as directed by the Illinois School Code.
SAAC promotes the full activity of the Service Associate Members of Illinois ASBO, to ensure that issues relevant to the Service Associates are dialogued and addressed by the Illinois ASBO Board of Directors and to facilitate Service Associate representation on the Illinois ASBO Board of Directors.
